Seven in ten mid-size finance channels already have a sponsor, so you're choosing from a short list.

Of the 16 finance channels we found between 100k and 1M subscribers, 11 showed a paid deal in recent uploads. In gaming, the same band was 8 of 16. The rates follow: a 60-second integration in this band runs $4,048 at the median, against $1,098 in gaming.

Two Cents is what the typical buy looks like. It has 833,000 subscribers and draws 128,112 median views. A sponsor already shows in its recent uploads, and a pre-roll mention there is estimated at $9,223.

The five unsponsored channels in the band are the ones to call first. Vincent Chan is the biggest of them, at 990,000 subscribers and 95,798 median views, with no paid deal in the uploads we read. The other four are real estate channels drawing under 4,000 median views each. The reach is the reason, and the topic isn't: three other real estate channels in the same band carry deals.

Subscribers don't set the price in finance. Median views do.

Casual Finance has 412,000 subscribers and draws 1,407,860 median views. Graham Stephan has twelve times the subscribers and a third of the views. Every rate here is arithmetic on median views, so the smaller channel prices a pre-roll at $101,365. Graham's channel prices at $34,728.

A shortlist sorted by subscribers puts those two in the wrong order, and it does the same to Noelle Randall. She has 1,080,000 subscribers and 10,014 median views, which prices a pre-roll at $720. Personal Finance with Leila has 67,800 subscribers and 20,223 median views, and prices at $1,455. Sort by median views. The price here is built from them, and subscribers aren't an input.

What to do this week

Price finance at four times gaming, and plan to compete for the mid band. The 100k–1M median is $4,048 a spot and 11 of its 16 channels are taken. Budget for it, or start with the five open channels named above.

Sort every shortlist by median views before you look at subscriber counts. In this sample a 412,000-subscriber channel out-reaches a 5,180,000-subscriber one three to one. The appendix lists every channel by band; the JSON has each one's median views.

Pitch the open channels with reach before the sponsored ones with size. Vincent Chan at 95,798 median views and Craig Percoco at 202,955 showed no deal in the uploads we read, so there's no incumbent to displace.

Caveats

  • The sample is what YouTube search surfaced for the seed phrases, not a census of the niche; say so.
  • Rates are estimates from public view counts, not observed deals.
  • A missing country on YouTube's side passes the market filter, so the market is where the search was aimed, not a guarantee per creator.
  • Raj Shamani and Zero1 by Zerodha are India-based channels that declare the US as their country on YouTube; they pass the US filter and are priced at US rates here.
  • The gaming comparison is to our 10 October 2026 run of the same method on the same bands: 48 US gaming channels, 16 per band.
  • Finance covers day-trading streams and personal-finance explainers alike, and one CPM range prices all of them.

How we got these numbers

The agency search, once per size band: YouTube channel and video searches for the seed phrases, biased to the market and language; channels filtered on size and activity; a model judge keeps those that fit the subject and flags paid deals. Rates are arithmetic on each creator's median views.

  • Searched on October 11, 2026.
  • Search phrases: personal finance, investing for beginners, stock market, real estate investing, credit cards. Market US, language en; rates at the tier 1 premium multiplier (1).
  • Channels analysed per band: 10k 640 analysed, 26 kept; 100k 512 analysed, 49 kept; 1m 384 analysed, 28 kept. A creator needed an upload in the last 90 days and at least 1,000 median views.
  • Rates are estimates, not quotes: a channel’s median views, per thousand, times the category’s CPM range, times the market multiplier. Three formats, a pre-roll mention under 30 seconds, a 60-second integration and a dedicated video, each as a low-ball, fair-market and aggressive-ask figure.
  • Median views are taken over a channel’s recent long-form uploads, up to 50, Shorts excluded. Engagement is median likes over median views.
  • How this page is made: the MyCoCreator app runs the search and builds the dataset; this page is updated from it each time the subject is searched again. The numbers are the app’s. The finding, the picks and the take are Srinivas Sri Perumbuduru’s, who reads every update before it ships.
